Founded in 1976 by partners Art Kadey and Jim Krogen, Kadey Krogen yachts prioritize full-displacement, blue water capable hulls combined with premium interior finishes and design. The original boats were 42-footers, but subsequent production has ranged from 36 – 58 feet. Kadey Krogen boats are praised by their owners for stout, seaworthy design and comfortable accommodations. Many are outfitted with stabilizers, and this is not a brand usually prioritized by a yachtsman looking for a good turn of speed.
